The situation
Energy labeling used to mean sending someone out with a tape measure, one home at a time. Most advisors didn't enjoy the measuring work itself, and when the advisor doing it was out sick, the label simply didn't get made: there was no data to fall back on until they were back.
The process depended entirely on one person being on-site, with a tape measure, getting every measurement right by hand.
The approach

We mapped the client's full labeling process and agreed on the accuracy a label needs to meet: a 10% margin.

The client digitally scans with their own equipment. Any LIDAR scanner works, be it Navvis or another brand. ScanPlan supports every type of output.

The scan uploads automatically over 5G to ScanPlan’s processing servers, arriving within minutes of the inspection finishing.
The outcome
Advisors now see the point cloud and the resulting model together and work directly with that data instead of re-measuring it by hand. Continued training on the ScanPlan platform has pushed classification to roughly 50% automated.
Output moved from 3 to 6 completed projects a day per advisor. What used to take two weeks now takes as little as four hours. Because the data is processed digitally rather than hand-recorded, one advisor being unavailable no longer stops a project.
